Creamy Corned Beef Carbonara

Easy and quick merienda for the whole family. Pasok sa budget ni mommy :)

Ingredients:

250g Spaghetti Pasta
250ml All Purpose Cream
1 Big Evaporated Milk
1 Medium Can Corned Beef
1/2 Cup Grated Cheese
2 Tbsp Butter
2 Tbsp Onion
2 Tbsp Garlic
1 Tbsp Cornstarch or All Purpose Flour
Salt and Pepper to taste


Procedure:

1. Cook the spaghetti pasta based on cooking instruction. Set aside.

2. Heat the pan then melt the butter.

3. Saute the garlic and onion. Cook for 2 minutes.

4. Add the corned beef and cook for 4 minutes.

5. Pour the milk, all purpose cream and grated cheese. Simmer for 7 minutes or hanggang sa matunaw ang cheese.

6. Dilute the cornstarch to 1 tbsp. water. Then mix to white sauce.

7. Put salt and pepper to taste.

8. Simmer until beginning to thicken. Remove from heat.

9. Mix the white sauce to spaghetti pasta. Serve with garlic bread.

Palitaw


Ingredients:

500g Glutinous Rice Flour
1/4 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Grated Coconut
2 Cups of Water
6 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Seed
2  Pandan Leaves


Procedure:

1. Combine glutinous rice flour and water. Mix until the dough is formed.

2. Knead the dough hanggang sa maging smooth na.

3. Kapag smooth na, gumamit lang ng kutsara para kumuha ng dough at gawing ball.

4. Wet your palm then flatten the rice balls. Set aside.

5. Boil water with pandan leaves then ilagay ang flatten dough per batch.

6. When the flatten dough start to float, tanggalin ito isa isa.

7. Roll the palitaw in grated coconut and sprinkle with sugar and toated sesame seed.

Maja Blanca

Maja Blanca is a Filipino dessert made by coconut milk, cornstarch and sugar...



Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups of corn (cream style)
1 cup of cornstarch
1 1/2 cups of first extract (unang gata)
2 cups of second extract (pangalawang gata)
3/4 cups of sugar
1 big can condense milk



 
Procedure:

1. Pour the 2nd extract of coconut milk bring to boil.

2. Add the sugar, condense milk and corn, simmer for 8 minutes.

3. Combine the 1st extract of coconut milk and cornstarch whisk until the cornstarch is diluted.

4. Pour the cornstarch mixture, mix thoroughly, cook until you reaches the desire thickness.

5. Allow to cool down and garnish with grated cheese, then refrigerate.

Coffee Jelly

Filipino Version of Coffee Jelly
You must try this :)


Ingredients:

3 packs mr. gulaman (unflavored)
1 can condensed milk
1 box all purpose cream
3/4 cup of sugar
6 tbsp. instant coffee


Procedure:

1. Dissolve the gelatin in 12cups of water, or follow instructions on packaging.

2. Bring to boil.

3. Put the sugar and instant coffee, dissolve thoroughly.

4. Ilagay sa prepare na lalagyan ang gelatin mixture, let it cool.

5. Cut the gelatin into cubes.

6. In a large bowl, combine the condensed milk and all purpose cream.

7. Add the gelatin then refrigerate.

8. Serve chilled.







Spicy Tokwa


Ingredients:

5pcs Tokwa
1 Medium Onion
3pcs Garlic
3pcs Siling Green
3pcs Siling Labuyo
1cup Mayonnaise
5tbsp Oyster Sauce
3tbsp Sugar
Oil



 

 
 
Procedure:

1. Deep fry the tokwa in batches until golden brown.

2. While waiting for the tokwa, mix muna natin ang sauce.

3. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sugar and oyster sauce.

4. In a frying pan, put 1 table spoon of oil, then garlic, onion and sili. Hintaying maluto muna ang sili bago ilagay ang mayonnaise mixture. Kapag thick na ang mixture ilagay ang na ang tokwa.

5. Haluin lang mabuti para madistribute evenly ang sauce.
